The Constituent Charte, Working procedures and Common Calendar all reflect the FPH and Alliance discussions in which I have participed. Allies requests for involvement in the next stage of the Alliance, including governance procedures, are reflected in these proposals. Appreciation to the Board and to Pierre Calame for the way in which the many contributions have been responded to and incorporated. Presumably there will be clarification of working procedures of guarantors as the group take up the responsabilities of the role. There may need to be occasional meetngs of this or other working groups to make the work more effective. It seems that the guarantors could have a mentoring and accopanying role with Allies to support the Constituent Charter. I would be very pleased to be a guarantor, and would prefer to take up on the role in addition to being a member of the Steering Commitee of the Charter for Human Responsabilities in this region and co-ordinating te Charte NZ, the Pacific and Australia (Oceana). If there is a need for extra contributions to the Alliance Annals ot the 2006-7 Strategy, I would consider the additional work. This is to be realistic about Charter commitments and my interest in continuing to represent this South Pacific region in Alliance fora.
