... on your possible participation
|
27 June 2005 | en |
I have been associated with the Alliance since 1997. I participated in
the Sao Paulo meeting in 1997 and also the World Citizens assembly in
Lille in 2001.
For me the Alliance activities are very dear and interesting.I am ready to
associate with the Alliance in whichever way I can.
I am working as a Journalist in New Delhi for The Times of India, the
largest-circulated daily English newspaper of India.
I would be like to be part of the following groups.
1.The editorial group for the Alliance Annals.
2.The group of guarantors
3.The discussion group on the common calendar.

... on the Constituent Charter
|
27 June 2005 | en |
I find this proposal for a Constituent Charter is suitable in its spirit and its main lines. It propogates a global organisation without an office. Though it does not have the Central authority like the Pope, but it can unite people from all continents under one platform and can galvanise them into action. If the civil society accepts the Alliance Charter of the Human Responsibilities, it will assure a new age. I hope, one day the whole world will adopt and implement the Charter of Human Responsibilities, like the Human Rights. It may happen in our lifetime, it may not happen in our life time, but surely it will happen.

I wish the Alliance will emerge as a global force by the time we all meet again.WE should plan more action globally. Thanks to FPH , Alliance activities are visible now, its partners are seen in a good number of the countries of the world. They are all active, in many countries - India, China, Brazil, Malaysia etc etc etc ...
