I must say that this constituent charter is a good effort and incorporates several suggestions made at Mumbai and Porto Allegre. With this document I hope we can now go ahead with conviction and humility, knowing that we have many tasks to achieve. I also hope that all the key friends in the Alliance can be mobilized around this document, even if they have some differences.

The Alliance is very precious to me and my organization. I hope to take a very active part in it. With about thirty years experience in the Asia-Pacific region I hope to use all my contacts to strengthen the programmes we decide upon. Interested in being part of:
the group of guarantors
the facilitation committee for the 2006-2007 strategy

I find that the calendar of events is well drafted and the general events proposed are a good basis to launch the next phase of the Alliance.

I think that we must re-start the Alliance as soon as possible. I hope this process can begin after the summer vacations of 2005.
